 5) How is the Placement of the Institute?

We are having a well-established Placement Cell.Our placement record has been outstanding and most of the placements are happening either on the campus or off the campus. The students never face a problem in getting a job with a good salary from a reputed company.

 6) What types of jobs are offered?

As “A” category B School of India (PAN India B School survey- 2014), we are in the fleet of top B School, therefore students are given opportunities in diverse functional areas including Finance and Banking Companies, IT and software Companies, Consumer Durable Organizations, Online Marketing, Securities, Auto Companies, FMCG Organizations, Transport Companies, Pharma Companies, Retail Giants & Infrastructure related Organizations according to their chosen areas of specialization.

 9) What stands for CMR?

CMR Stands for Chikka Muniyappa Reddy a Philanthropist and educationist who provided an opportunity to those who otherwise would have not stepped into the doorstep of formal education.

 10) How is your MBA program different from any other MBA programs offered by other B Schools?

The difference of the program is the way in which it is structured, offering holistic learning modules through its pedagogy and the experiential nature of courses. It’s an amalgamation of academic and non academic activities which are extremely important for overall development of students. The students have an opportunity to explore, experience andexpress their interests and aptitudes throughout the two years of their study.

 11) What are the specializations offered?

We are offering all the specializations as prescribed by Bangalore University subject to the fulfillment minimum number of students. These include Finance, Marketing, HR, Banking finance and services management, Start-ups and SME’s Management, Health care Management.  Apart from these specializations students will be exposed to 15 days internship (Project work) along with a dissertation for six (6) weeks.

 13) What is Dual Specialization?

During the 3rd and 4th semester each student is required to take up 2 specializations (unlike 1 specialization in many universities) it is extremely positive to the student in terms of placement and individual development focused towards the Business and society.

 14) What is the Eligibility criteria for MBA Admission?

All graduates with minimum 50% aggregate in Degree examination (for SC /ST /Cat-1 Karnataka candidates – 45%) are eligible to apply for MBA program. Entrance Exam score is compulsory ( MAT/CAT/KMAT/PGCET or any other National level test)

 15) How do I take admission for CMR-CBS?

The Admission procedure for CMRCBS is simple and straight. We look for students who wish to perceive their academics with a sense of purpose, pride and direction.

All Students who are willing to take admission should obtain application by paying Rs. 750/- (Application can also be downloaded) and the filled inapplication should be submitted to the Director, CMR Center for Business Studies along with all the semester Marks cards of the UG degree examination.

After the scrutiny of applications the selected candidates will be having personal interview and counseling to fit into the system of management education.  17) Is there any value added courses?

CMR life skill Institute offers English Language enhancement programs to students to help them own their language skills. Apart from this 24 hours of well planned and structured life skill classes will be offered to the students for their all round development in each semester. Certificates will be issued on the basis of their grading and performance.
