Hrishikesh M P (b.1960), Director, CMR Center for Business Studies with more than 32 years of academic and administrative experience holds a Ph. D in Human Resource Management. His strong academic back ground helped him to pursue teaching and learning in reputed B-schools. He is actively involved in teaching, research and consulting, training and academic administration. His areas of interest include talent management, knowledge management, learning organization, organizational behavior, mentoring and general management. He has published large number of papers and authored a few books in the areas of business management. He has organized national and international workshops, seminars, conferences and symposiums. He has also presented papers in national and international seminars. He has trained many corporate executives and professionals in the area of talent development. He is the recognized research guide of Anna Technical University, Coimbatore. He, has carried out research projects funded by UGC and other funding institutions. He has the experience on foreign collaborated programmes between SBS- Swiss Business School, Zurich, Switzerland and RIMS.
He has served as a member of the academic council, board of studies and board of examinations of Mangalore University and other universities across the state. He was also the member of local enquiry committee of Mangalore University. He is also the advisor and visiting professor to leading Management institutes. As unanimously elected president of Mangalore University Commerce Teachers’ Association (2004-2005), he has brought in innovation and reforms in commerce and management. His affiliations include NHRD Network, FKCCI, AIMA, NIAM and All India Commerce Association. He is also the Fellow of Academy of General Education, Mani pal. He has also worked for academic collaborations with Annamalai University, Anna Technical University, Tumkur University and Bharathiar University as the Dean of Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies before joining the Prestigious and progressive CMR Group of Institution. Besides everything he is closely associated with the MBA Dept of CMRIT and has handled his dearest HR subjects for the benefit of students. He is one amongst the CMR Group of Institutions who is willing to share and care for the requirements of students community.
